Our mission is to cater to our local community by training fellow youth with the skills they will need to be chefs, entrepreneurs, and artists.

We encourage youth between the ages of 10-18 to join our cause by introducing their skill set to Rising Gastronomers.

Rising Gastronomers Community

Members of the Rising Gastronomer community have access to a platform with upcoming events and announcements. To have access to this page, you first need to create an account by clicking the button on the left (“For RG Members"). After being accepted by an admin, you will be taken to the community page.

FAQs

  • Requirements:

    • Be between 10 and 18 years old

    • Have a passion for developing new skills

    • Be willing to give up time in order to help

    • No prior cooking experience required

      • If you have no cooking experience, you are required to take cooking lessons run by us

    • Help cook, clean, and set up catering events

    • Participate in the community through culinary experiences

    • Not only do you help out with catering events, you also have opportunities to connect with the community through fun experiences arranged by RG, including but not limited to: farmer’s market excursions, cooking lessons, and fine dining!

    • Pay starts at $20 an hour for minimal help (i.e. setting up event and cleaning) to $30 an hour for helping prep food and run errands.
